I have a thrustmaster USB joystick which I bought last year. Last year I used it and was able to play Xwing collectors cd rom and it was working. Also with descent I didn't have a problem.

Now I tried but the joystick is not recognised; I tried with many games with no luck. I checked if the joystick is recognised by other programs in ubuntu and it seems to be perfectly functional.

The config file has joysticktype=auto and I haven't changed anything the past year. Any ideas?
