hi trying to play d generation w a joypad ..: the problem is : from what i read there is no way for my 4way joypad to map (eg.) 2 directions UP + RIGHT as a ONE diagonal movement in dosbox mapping, so i end up w 4 directions instead of the needed 8
is there actual 8way dpad (Joypad) ? i just googled it and pictures of normal nes style 4 direction joypads come up , since i never bothered w console type inputs i have no knowledge on the topic.... so some of the pictures that "seem" like a 8angle pad i am not sure if it is a TRUE PROPER 8way or just a 4way in "disguise"
can someone maybe even post a model/brand of a TRUE REAL 8joypad in question or where i could look for it ... maybe even confirm that dosbox will accept the 8 directions of it (instead of just 4)
