well if you redirect an application, than I think you should get the redirection in whatever way the application it self writes, but we don't have much code that deals with that additional CR. So if the application uses DOS calls to write stuff to the screen and hence the redirected file, than dosbox takes little attempts to put a CR in there if the application writes a LF
However it doesn't ignore CRs which are put there by the application itself.
