I'm trying to run Eye of the Beholder 3 (AD&D) under Dosbox, but I keep getting this message:

Error: Couldn't open output file for translation

I've read a few other posts on here, and I think it may be an issue with the Aesop engine (also used for Dungeon Hack). (As EOB1 and EOB2 both worked fine).

I came accross a list of files to download, but I don't know much about them and am unsure what I need. Could anyone please tell me exactly what I need to downlaod to get EOB3 working please?

I have a Dual 2.3GHz PowerMac G5, running OS 10.4.3, with 1 GB RAM.

I now don't think it was anything to do with the Aesop thing at all.

I think it was some kind of installation error or something. I can never get the install.bat to work (in any of the EOB games), it says something about making sure you change directory then run it, but nothing works. So, I was just copying the files over in Dosbox.

But now, I tried doing it from within OS X, and it now runs, albeit much slower than EOB1 or 2 (which was always the case I believe). - Does anyone know any way to spped it up?
