I have Windows Vista Basic. And I have the original game called Sabre Team (1994) on PC CD-ROM. I tried to install and run it using the "60 seconds guide" but it didn't work. I used this guide b4 and it worked for every game. So, this is not the problem. I read somewhere that Sabre Team can only be run in "Pure DOS mode." What does it mean?

Has any1 out there made this game run successfully?

Is there a way to run it on my Vista using DOS Box?

This is such a great and old game...
Can't believe that this is one of those 1% of games that can't be run under DosBox 🙁

Hope I am wrong, of course.

Could anyone plz help me?

No error message. DosBox just crashes/dissappears when I click on install.exe in the final step.

It does the same thing with versions 0.63; 65; 70 and 72 🙁

What can I do?

and/or disabling ems/xms/umb ?

How do I do that? Plz guide me through.

Also, good news- the game runs great (which I downloaded from underdogs) with DosBox 70

But this is a CD rip.
I have the CD edition/version, which is much better. And I'd like to run the CD version 😀

I read on dosbox.com someone commenting that the game (CD edition) works great with DOSBox 0.65 but I couldn't install it or run it 😀

Anyway, I'd appreciate if you could tell me how to do all those things you mentioned.
