I played Populous 2 in DOSBox yesterday for a while - running fine, except one thing. I don't know if it's a DOSBox issue or just the PC-version. There seems to be just one sound channel, so if there's any sound playing, I'm missing sounds like the opponent god casting fire, whirlwind or whatever at me. Also, the typical heartbeat is not playing.

So, anyone of you knows if this is just the PC-version, or am I missing something in my DOSBox or Populous configuration? My [sblaster]-part of the config is currently this:

sbtype=sb16
sbbase=220
irq=7
dma=1
hdma=5
mixer=true
oplmode=auto
oplrate=44100

If I set oplmode to opl3, I don't get any sound at all, changing oplrate seems to have no effect.

Any help or susgestions appreciated!
