Hello,
i have seen the posting guidelines, but i feel that this issue's nature can be legitimate to go directley on before i post all my system info

cause its simply that i wonder if i shall blaime my keyboard or if there is some special settings i must make in dosbox to be able to write
: and \ once inside the application interface

thoose keyboard keys instead seems replaced and creates a ">" alternate nothing for me..and that can be a problem when you intend to mount NHL 96 with the whole cd rom drive 🙄
If this is explained in dosbox guides? i appologize for not finding the chapter myself..but my english word and prase library is somewhat limited (i mean "signs" is my best word to describe it)

I have a microsoft multimedia keyboard 1.0a
and dosbox-0.73

I guess that is the cause of all your problems.

Try the command KEYB SV in DOSBox.

If not, there are some posts here about disabling a keyboard driver or something...

You do not need to write "MOUNT D D:\ -T cdrom", you can also write "MOUNT D D:/ -T cdrom".

Det är mycket enkelt:

mount C "F:\spel"
mount D "I:\" -t cdrom

cd skivan blottad

subfolder av intresse? "cd hockey" funkade mindre bra

Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox (and don't just read it - follow it too).

If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.

Reading the aptly named README file will be a good idea too.
