Hi to everybody.

I have an issue that i hope to solve it here. 😊

At my work i have a LAN where an XP is sharing his C drive.
Now i need to run from an Ubuntu client D.O.S application.
I already mount the C drive into my Ubuntu but when i try to mount f /folder dosbox tells me that /folder does not exist. I notice that the problem is with a shared folder. Can i solve it?
I found this issue with dosemu and try to use this solution http://pascalek.pers.pl/en/propage/samba4dosemu-introduction without any luck.

I need to do it this way because the C drive is acting like the server sharing a "database" used by 5 PC's so I cant copy that files locally they have to stay there for all the LAN.

I hope to be clear (english is not my native language). I want to know how to use a mounted directory!

Thanks in advance.

Where is the "/folder" actually located?
mount f /folder

is it something like
/home/user/shared or ~/shared?

or
/media/shared?

Actually, when you say you mounted C drive.
Where?

What is the output of
dir

and can you cd to the directory you need?

You are 199k RAM short of having enough memory.
You need to buy more memory or remove any memory resident programs, Dude.

Hi, thanks for your answer!!

The folder is locate at /
I mount at / and at /home/user/folder assuming maybe was an access problem. I had mount the folder using samba and i can access the content so it is not a mount problem.

Thanks again for your answer!
