Im using a new Windows 7 computer and i just install dosbox, games are runing fine until i finish a level, thats when the computer shuts of instantly.
has this happend to someone else?

LATER RESEARCH: apperantly the store that i bought the computer from had a FAQ and they had the answer to the sympthoms, the drivers werent updated.

That's kind of hard to say unless you can tell us what games you are "runing".

Doom
Hexen
Heretic
Elderscrolls 2 Daggefall

Then you certainly have a hardware problem. Check all devices thoroughly.

well it is a custom built but i didnt put it together, the store did, but i can run other more demanding games without any framedrops with the highest graphics, its just a bit silly to me how a game that only uses 400mb as if it was 40gb today..

Your computer switching off is not a fault of DOSBox. If warranty is enforced by your country go to the store and let them fix it...

Edit: Maybe tell us what exactly happens when the computer 'shuts down' as this tends to be interpreted differently.

These other "demanding" games may not be demanding enough. Try some stress testing
of different components like FurMark (opengl graphics) and memtest (RAM).
