I'm using DOSBox 0.74 to run 11th Hour using CD images. It works fine except for the fact that the opening titles (not the opening cinematic) run too fast. The same thing happens if I use the real CDs. I suspect this is because the game is designed for a 2x CD-ROM drive and the images (and modern DVD drives) are much, much faster. Is there any way to throttle the virtual CD-ROM drives so that they run as if they were 2x or 4x drives?

I had a similar problem with Panzer General, I could solve that by changing the line core=auto to core=normal in the Dosbox configuration file. Maybe it helps in this case too.
