I've been trying to get all my old Sierrra AGI games working with Tandy sound, however, for some reason I can't get Leisure Suit Larry 1 and Black Cauldron working correctly.

I'm launching the games using the -t parameter, ex:
sierra -t

...which has worked perfectly with all the other games.

Has anyone had any luck getting these two up and running with Tandy 3-voice?

NB:
Black Cauldron is available as a free download at:

Yeah, I've been having the same problems on those two games as well. Strange.

I just recently learned of the "-t" parameter so I went and tried it on all the other old AGI games, too.

Any additional help on this one would be grateful as well!

Tried replacing the AGI engine with a slightly newer one (from one of the games that does work)?

Yes, it’s my fault.

Yes, I've tried using some of the newer interpreters, but it seems that they are incompatible with the resource files used by the two games.

Have you tried using NAGI to play these games? I don't know the status of the program but it looks promising 😁

Nagi works perfectly with all the games and emulates the Tandy-sound too. It is purely for nostalgic reasons that I would prefer to have them running in the original interpreter 😀

You can try my Tandy variant of DosBox here:

Its an older version (.57) but should run all the games you've mentioned. Also, the -t option is not required as I've built in the correct information to correctly identify DosBox as a Tandy.
