Does anyone know hom to emulate this game with hq Sound Blaster sound? For me it works only with poor quality PC speaker emulation. when I choose Adlib or SB in options there is no sound at all. I saw a movies on youtube with good sound, an the author was claiming that he run this game in dosbox. anyone knows how to fix this issue?
The sound is working here in DOSBox 0.74 with default settings. After running INSTALL.EXE to select the SB sound option and saving the configuration, check that your TRISTAN.CFG file looks something like this:
Video = 1Sound = 1CPU Type = 0Plunger = 79LeftFlipper = 42RightFlipper = 54Nudge = 57
The important thing being the "Sound = 1" line. If the game config looks correct and you're using DOSBox 0.74 with default settings then maybe you have missing or damaged game files.
