Moved to DOSBox forum as it seems to be a DOSBox question.

Syndicate Plus came out in 94, I don't know how well they matched their release to the CPU of the day but the CPUs released in 94 were the Pentium 90 and 100, pentium 100 is around 53000 cycles in DOSBox. According to mobygames, Syndicate Plus is just Syndicate(1993) bundled with its expansion pack, 93 the initial pentium at 60,66 was released, though I don't think most bought them, so a more likely target at the time might have been the 486 66 from 92, which is around 23000 cycles.

I usually play it with a cycles count of just 10000. It's slower, but it works well. The GoG.com release defaults to only 8000 cycles though. 😲
