I would like to play the Constructor game in Windows XP. I installed
the DOSBox, and I configured drives, but he is asking for to the
CD and the game not wheel. I placed the CD in
drive.

Folder of the Game: C:\Acclaim\CN
Drive CDRom: I:\

DOSBOx:

mount c c:\Acclaim\CN
Drive C mounted the place directory c:\Acclaim\CN

mount d i: \ - t cdrom
Drive D mounted the CDRom.

What I made of wrong?

Maybe the disc is expected to be at I. Try
mount d d:\ -t cdrom -ioctl
mount i i:\ -t cdrom -ioctl
just to be sure.

I have to say I'm not sure what you're telling him to do.

If what MrGodman exactly wrote is true, the reason it won't work is:

mount d i: \ - t cdrom

There's no space allowed between i: and \

Also, some games simply don't work when mounted like that or mounted at all. What I do with CD games, is create a CD image and run it through Daemon Tools or mount it inside Dosbox. This usually defeats any copy protection tests.

This game will work in NTSF partition? Because I change, so is not FAT32 anymore.
I will install Win98 just to play, but I can't because it's NTFS now.

Hi!

So, it's works. But now apper another error:

Error=Problem opening SFX FFS using C:\OLDGAMES\sfx\DATA.FIL

Just to clarify, the directory of the game is not C:\Acclaim\CN anymore (this is in 2004, 😁) Now is C:\OLDGAMES.

This link: http://home.student.utwente.nl/r.muller/unire … /videoproblems/

where they sad I can find files to fix the video problems is not working anymore.
