In Strahd's Possession (cd-rom), in the caves west of Barovia, I am at the final barrier between myself and the portal room. When I touch the barrier the game crashes with this error "D:\CINE13.ANM ....Cannot Find"

The strange thing is there is no file like that on the cd. I had my brother check his copy "a collection disc" and no file there either. Any recommendations?

Are you sure installation is correct with no damaged files?

Could you try it on a different machine?

Reinstalled. Worked. I have to advise everyone playing this game to back up their saves. Alot of weird problems seem to happen with "triggers". Cutscenes and important plot elements will suddenly not work and can only be fixed by a fresh install. Evidently the game forgets to write/delete certain events sometimes.
