I've noticed a difference in music speed when playing Tyrian between VDMsound and Dosbox. Dosbox plays the music much faster, and this is the only game where I've noticed a difference between the two.
I've posted a sample from each program to illustrate the difference.
I'm not sure if this is a Dosbox fault, but I certainly remember the music being played at the slower speed on my old DOS computer.

I remember it being "fast"... Does running the game with a different option help. There is like slug, slow, normal, turbo I think? Does this change the speed for you?

(I used to run tyrian on my p120)

Yes it does, sort of. Setting it to slug mode slows the music down to the correct speed in game, but it's still fast on all of the menus and when the game is paused, which when you think about it is as good as perfect. Thanks!
