I am desperate to run RIPPER on my PC which has XP installed on it.

I am trying to use DOSBOX but whenever I try to run the game dosbox disappears after some errors appear that I cant read (they flash up too fast)

I am running 0.63

and on the games list it says

Copy INSTALL folder from CD1 to HDD. Apply 1.03 patch. Apply 1.05 patch. Run SETUPV.BAT. Run RIPPER.EXE /v /v3. Enjoy!!!

ok, I have the install folder on my hard drive... but where is the 1.03 and 1.05 patch? should they be on the ripper CD cos I cant find any patches on the DOSBOX site... then setupv.bat? I have no idea where that is...

I really have NO clue... somebody PLEASE PLEASE help meeeeee!

Hi there,

I don't have the game, but The Patches Scrolls has update 1.05: http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/dlp.cgi?lang=eng&sys=p … p105.zip&ref=ps

Patch 1.03 is harder to find..

You may want to try one of the CVS builds as well, look here for more info: DOSBox SVN Builds

BTW, according to MobyGames, there is a Windows version as well.
