?????
does the screen go any bigger on dosbox .63?
It's set to 1024 x 768 in the conf file. My screen resolution is also set to 1024 x 768.
It's OK as is, but just used to lemmings on full screen on old 486 😀
Could you PLEASE update your dosbox version? Where did you
get that ancient one from anyways?
I've used the old version as when I checked on the game, this version was supported.
I downloaded version .71 and attach the screen dump, which I can't even read. Version .63 works OK (and I can read it) and I can live with the screen size if it can't be made any bigger.
Any suggestions on why the screen short looks so bad would be appreciated.
Well for 0.63 the upper part of the screen has a bad palette,
for 0.70 and later the lower part has. They switch the palette
in the middle of the screen.
But the game is fully playable in 0.70+ despite of this, and you
surely won't get any recommendations for 0.63
I've tried .70 and it won't work, which is why I went looking for the details on the game. I've attached a screen dump of where I found .63 version against lemmings. Maybe these pages need updating?
My husband can't read the screens between levels, so unless I strike problems, we'll stay with .63 for now. It's working and we can both read it. 😀
Well then have fun.
we will, but thanks for your input. It is appreciated.
