Which is the difference if someone buys an original oldgame copy (which is out of production) from ebay or if he downloads it from an abandonware site? The former Producer (in both cases) doen't have any commercial benefit of it.

Replace "oldgame" with "newgame" and "abandonware site" with "torrent"
and you see that it doesn't make any sense.

This whole thing has shiftet pretty much from the original topic, mainly because
some people are still trying to get their own view of things populated for pretty
much no reason.
