This hal probably already been asked, but i have the cd version of FOA and can get it to work and i get the background music, hoever the dialogue is another story can anyone hive me help (i do get the dialogue in that custcene in the beginning when Jones gets back to his ffice and Mr smith and Brody are there but nowhere else)
Then it can't be DOSBOX surely? It sounds as if text only has been turned on - turn on text+speech.

Use ScummVM. It does a great job of playing those old LucasArts games on modern machines.

ScumVM is cool but I want the more authentic feeling DOSBOX myself to be honest since ScumVM alters the games a bit. I can play all Lucas Arts games in DOSBOX myself so I'd rather use that then.
Try running the game executable with the parameter s, and press F5 to bring the menu, check the options, there may be one that let you select the text and speech mode.
