Hi, i've recently installed DosBox and D-fend to use Pandora Directive on my PC. I found immediately sound card and cd, but in movement mode (when you move around 3d levels) games go incredibly slow!
What can I do? video and sound playback are just perfect, i run the game in a window and i put 20000 cycles and 64 mb of memory.

Thansk in advance!

Assuming you are using latest DOSBox version (0.65).

Edit dosbox.conf and set core=dynamic / cycles=auto

I don't know whether D-FEND supports those values.

First of all, 20 000 cycles is next to nothing for later DOS games like Pandora Directive. Most 3D games need 70000+. My new PC (Conroe E6600) can pull 120.000 cycles and more for a lot of games and only now they have became playable. Pandora Directive still needs to be tested, but it was a tad slow on my old AMD 64 3000+ but just about playable in most areas.
