Im not able to play with joystick with this game, at calibration screen, a full range joystick mouvement is seen (by this game) as a very small one.
This alos happen with VDMsound but theres a trick to change joystick range or so...

Isn't Grand Prix 2 way to slow in dosbox anyway? It runs fine with vdmsound.
Back in 1996 when gp2 was released, there was hardly a computer able to run it smoothly. My PII, bought in 1998 (!!), was way too slow ... . 🤣
Better to use vdmsound, I think.
No it runs fine in dosbox in svga, but without textures (or just a few).
I don't like textures anyway, and I prefer playing in a window...
Btw, i dont understand why textures slow games down that much in dosbox...
