Toonstruck has an Auto feature which automatically introduces the scan lines, if your system isn't fast enough to play the FMVs in full resolution (which unfortunately still seems to be the case in Dosbox).

You can deactivate them in the options menu (video quality high/low), but probably they will be set back again, if the FMVS lags without scanlines.

I remember the scanlines even on a pentium...

within dosbox i always get the error "could not configure linear acess to video memory, game will play slow"

i'm assuming this is the "auto feature" that chooses the default video mode as low or high

ive lookd all over the place and cant find a solution for this its annoying having scanlinse in the intro and video at the start i want to watch the whole intro without scanlines!!

Has anyone figured a way to get scanlines to go away?
So far I only get them in Beast With and ToonStruck.

With the release of 0.73, has the scan line issue become solvable? I still have scanlines same as previous verion.
