I am trying to run Priv 2 with dosbox 7, and it seems to run extremely well except that it won't recognize my sidewinder joystick. The stick is plugged into my USB port, and Win XP recognizes it, and it's calibrated in the control panel. Help me please
I should also add that I'm a novice user of dosbox, so when helping, please tell me exactly how to do whatever I need to do.
Privateer 2 and joysticks just don't work well together. The joystick handling is very buggy and strange, which is widely discussed on the internet. Just give it a search.

Weird thing is....it worked on my last computer, and I think I was running DOSBox .62 on it....for some reason, .62 now boots me out as soon as I start the game....whereas .70 runs it great, but no stick 🙁
