Dosbox is sooooo cool.

Thought I'd give Instant Artist 1.01 a try with dosbox and it runs great in VGA. It also runs in SVGA with the command line switch of "IA /svga" but I lose all of the mouse support. The mouse doesn't seem to work at all and I don't see a mouse pointer.

I get little graphics artifacts with the mouse in VGA but that's tolerable.

Seems to do it in both .70 and .71.

Thanks,

Don

2. Mouse use with 800 x 600: The Microsoft Mouse will not support
800 x 600 resolution. This is also true with some other mice. Trying to run
IA with the -MSVGA switch may have some pretty bizarre results if your
mouse is one of these (example: partial screens, invisible mouse pointers,
etc.). For Logitech users, your mouse driver must be version 6.1 or later.
Contact your dealer or Logitech for an update.
