I've often thought about installing some of my older games and giving them a spin, but then I remember that none of them will work on modern hardware and operating systems. I've toyed with the idea of piecing together an old system and installing DOS 6.22 in order to run the games natively, but I always give up on that idea pretty quick because I'm just not that ambitious.

Recently I noticed that all the old ID software titles were made available on Steam. I decided to purchase the Commander Keen pack and subsequently relived a bit of my childhood. I saw that the games were running through a program called DOSBox and after poking around a bit I ended up here!

Now I'm having fun re-playing Descent and Raptor! 😀

I'm really feeling the nostalgia so I just thought I'd share.
