Gender wars problems, please help

Well im very bad with this kind of stuff, but im learning more and more
Anyway my problem is when i try to play the game, i have the original cd and i was looking foward to play it after so long, everything in dos box is fine until i try to play it because it say "CD-Rom not installed" what i am doing wrong can some one tell me?

Motherboard .- i dont remember
Processor type and speed.- AMD 64 x2 dual 2.81 GHz
Amount and type of RAM.- 2.00 GB
Sound board Sound Blaster 24 bits
Operating system.- Windows XP
Game name.- Gender Wars
Sound mode used.- none
Video mode.- Direct 3d
Version of emulator.- Dos box v 0.72
Steps already attempted to solve the problem.- like 15

You first need to tell us what are you doing exactly, then we can tell you what are you doing wrong. 😜
Did you mount both folder where you installed the game and cd?

Well ok, sorry
Well first i installed the GW game in C:\GW\
Then i began the program DosBox 0.72 in the program i did the next steps
1.- mount c c:\GW\
2.- dir
3.- gw.exe
And then the program began, after that it appear the error of "CD-ROM not installed" and thats all i did

Installed how? From inside DOSBox or from Windows XP?

Like any other CD, the game installed using the CD program, That is because i have the original cd
Is is anything else missing? Because it is please tell me, this is the first time i do something like this

And did you run that CD-install program from inside DOSBox or from Windows?

First, you need to read more carefully; second, you need to be consistent and stop lying; third you didn't mount cdrom so try mounting it. 😜
