In Wolf3D you can open a door with a single click on the mouse mid-button.
In DOOM you need to double click this button.
In DOOM2 you have to use the keyboard.
Why?

How to ask questions the smart way!

No you don't. You can use the setup program to use Keyboard + Mouse.
Again, irrelevant forum, and non-issue.

I've already did it. It doesn't work.
What do you mean by "doesn't work"?

The setting in the game setup are OK, but I can't open a door without using my keyboard.
We do don't know. The sane people play the original Doom with a keyboard. The insane don't. If you wish to know why door's cannot open with a mouseclick then you should ask on John Romero's website. If anyone knows (besides Carmack) it would be him.
So you set it yourself? Where did you place it? Theres a double click and a single click option. Maybe you aren't setting the right one. I'm not near a dosbox-equipped machine so I can't tell you exactly what to do....
Also make sure your files aren't set to "Read Only" as your changes will not be saved. Doom's config isn't smart enough to know any better.
now it works... but i'm sure i changed it before.
it's still require double click.
i use the keboard only for the Arrow Keys and for Shift (walk fast).
