Greetings:

I am trying to run Wipeout XL from 1996 under DosBox 0.71 and of course this game appears to be a Windows 95 game. Do I have to install W95 under DB to get this work or is there a way to make the game "think" it is in a Windows environment. If I need to install W95, please advise the best way to do this. The version of DB is 0.71 and it is on Ubuntu 7.10 Linux.

it's a windows 9x game, that uses 3d accelleration via direct3d, so tough luck getting it to work in DOSBox. You'd have better luck in Wine

Not having any luck in Wine either, it loads but apparently dies so not sure there.
