I'm about as techno-ignorant as it comes, but I do read the README stuff It's the techno jargon I have trouble with:dead:

I used Loonies program to get to the A: drive and install directory... but when I get to disc 4 of the install I get this error message:

How did you get the install to work in DOSBox 0.72? 😢

XPHome edition
GigaBit motherboard
AMD Athalon 64
GeForce 6600 twins
1 gig RAM
RealTek soundcard

DOH forgot to say I checked the compatability list... and YES Subwar is supported.

Is there a list of command strings to get drive A: to load/install the game properly? Or do I have to slow my PC down... Don't even know how I'd do that. 😅

Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox (and don't just read it - follow it too).

If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.

Reading the aptly named README file will be a good idea too.
