I am trying to run fallout via dosbox and I'm running into a weird problem.

When I go to install it says i only have 110mb free space yet i have at least 110 gigs free at the moment. I want to do the full install because my CD drive is particularly loud when running through dosbox.

Any idea how to make it have more memory in the mounted area?

And get an appointment with your optician. You might need new glasses.

-freesize.

Maybe it should be added to the FAQ 😉

"Q: The game complains about insufficient harddisk space but I have gazillions of gigabytes free.
A: Look at the mount command, especially -freesize."

Wow, I didn't know that there was a DOS version of Fallout. i bought a double jewel case set of Fallout and Fallout 2 a few years ago and it stated in the requirements that they were for Windows only and would not run in DOS. 😕
