Hi

I noticed that Pinball Dreams 2 changes running speed during playing. It happens on all the four tables. Game changes its speed all the time - slower and faster, and generally game is too slow.
The game speeded up when I changed 'output' variable from 'surface' to 'overlay' (but it is still not good)

Pinball Dreams 2 isn't a protected-mode game, meaning DOSBox will likely leave it at 3000 cycles (or whatever is default) while playing the game. Using Ctrl+F12 or the "cycles" command at the prompt to increase it will likely help game speed considerably.

My experience is actually from the Pinball Dreams Deluxe CD (PD1 and 2 together), but it should apply just as well to a standalone PD2.

Thanks for reply

I've just tried several values of 'cycles' and 5000 gives the best result. 😊
Game runs with almost constant speed and faster.
Earlier I had set it to 'max', but now I see that higher values than 5000 makes the game runs slower and changes its running speed.
