Hey guys. I am trying to play The Human Calculator and am running into a problem. Everytime I open the game it freezes on the open screen, no sound, only the screen. I have tried playing it both from the cd and from a copied version of it.

What I did is mount my cd-rom (or folder where I saved cd's contents), then prior the cd manuel's instructions I typed in
D:
cd/hc
hc
Then I get the frozen screen.
I'm new to this, so let me know if I left out any crucial information. Thanks in advance!

Processor: Intel Core 2 cpu X6800 2.93GHz each core
RAM: 4 Gbs DDR3
Video: Dual NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX, 512 MB RAM each
Sound: High definition audio device
OS: Windows 7
DosBox v 0.74

You didn't mention mounting anything as C. I'm guessing the game might have looked for your hard drive so it can store setup or save files there.

Ok here are all the commands i used

mount C C:\DosBox (Thats a folder I made for save games)
mount D D:\
D:\
cd\hc
hc

Then the screen freezes. The same happens if I copy the contents of the cd to another folder and mount that folder as my d drive instead.

Mount d d:\ -t cdrom

And see if there is an installer in the root of the cd.
