Hello everybody. Maybe someone knows this cool old game Arsenal: Taste the Power (released in 1998). If you've never heard of it, it's a strategy based on World War 2 (you can find some videos of it on YouTube). Everytime I play it in DosBox 0.74 I have the same problem - insufficient memory. I searched the Internet for the solution but found none... In Basic settings I changed 16 MB (default settings) to 64 MB (maximum in DOSBox according to forums) but to no avail. It is getting more and more annoying to have this problem - my computer is updated and I have a lot of space and memory, how come the developpers of DOSBox didn't allow more memory for the program? 😵 I believe other old strategies get stuck in DOSBox as well and I am not the only one who has this kind of problem. Can anyone help? I can't believe it can't be fixed 😢

Where did you get it? I tried downloading the shareware version from here http://www.tacticalsoft.com/arsenal1/download.htm and it always comes up as a corrupted download, in my case, a 20-byte EXE that simply disappears after downloading.

Isn't downloading through a torrent kind of illegal in most cases?

Yeah, sharing copyrighted material is illegal. I know that in Germany the law is very strict in this regard and the police can even pay you a visit and search your computer for any copyrighted material illegally downloaded if they track you down... In France they have automatic fines... In Canada, as far as I know, file sharing is tolerated. It's a miracle people still play Arsenal these days and such dudes like me try to solve problems concerning the game, therefore I would not bother about legality/illegality. So if someone gets caught/fined for downloading this old game which is forgotten and abandoned even by its developers, notify me, I will have a good laugh so unbelievable will it be 😀

The issue is not whether others do illegal stuff. It's that this forum cannot condone illegal downloads nor can we help with such.
