Hi there,

I've got following problem. When I want to install Crusader I receive this message: "Loading: [.....================================
Unable to open file (null), in file FILE\FASTFLEX.C, line 38
=============================

Frankly said, it's a small progres from version 0.60, but I'm still not able to play my favourite game. Does anybody else encounter this problem???

Thanks a lot for any clue...

uhr did you try changing the xms and ems options ?
As far as I know does C:NR work fine
Is your installation complete ?

Aren't you using an old configfile of dosbox ?

Crusader - No Remorse works. Just set "EMS=false".

hi

m3h got the same problem - with or without ems
btw: i tried also win98 and dos 6.22 unter virtual pc 2004 - same error

guys i really NEED to play no remorse & no regret (and i dont want to build a pc for it (pII 333 or something)

finaly it works 😉

memsize=32
xms=true
ems=false

> installed from original cd (mounted with -t cdrom from f: physical to d: dosbox) into c:\crusader (mounted my physical c drive to c:)

> put cpu cycles to 10000

now it works fine (with dosbox 0.61)
