I've tried Bubble Bobble with DOSBox 0.61; Bubble Bobble (1989 by Novalogic) seems to work correctly but in the games info it's classified as discontinued

Configuration:
AMD Athlon(tm)XP 2200+
1.79 GHz
512 MB of RAM (480 available)
NVIDIA GeForce2 Integrated GPU (Shared memory)
Windows XP Professional
DOSBox 0.61

No, I'm sorry, I have to correct myself 🙁
Bubble Bobble doesn't work correctly on my system in VGA mode.
When I get to levels like 09, 10 or 11 DOSBox quits
CGA and Tandy modes dosn't have such problems.

Dang, it happened again 🙁 For a while I thought it happened because I was using the BBFAST.EXE patch...
But I ran the game in normal mode running
bubble.exe /r
Thus time happened at the 13th level... It's a sequence: first at 09, then 10,11,12, now 13.
What's your computer configuration and what OS are you running?
Anyway could you pass me your bubble bobble files?

PM has been disabled. Besides, it wouldn't be a good thing swapping things here. Write me at el_pusher@hotmail.com and i will see what i can do. Put Bubble Bobble or something like that on message subject.

It was the configuration file...
I didn't pay too much attention to it, tried to change the options but
yesterday I deleted it and used the original configuration file dosbox.conf
and did some tries:
If I set the CPU emulation to dynamic and use both Sound Blaster and Adlib
emulation the emulator will crash at levels 9, 10, 11, 12, or 13;
If I disabled Adlib emulation the game worked fine (without detecting Adlib
sound, so it was mute);
Then I noticed that having the dynamic emulation disabled makes the game
work fine
