after installing the game. I mount the cd with
mount d /mnt/dvd/ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -label DSA3-RIVA -ioctl
but the game crashs with a "SDL Parachute Deployed"
after removing "-usecd" the game say: "no cd in drive"
I also try to remove all other options, but also get a "SDL Parachute" if I insert the "usecd" option. 🙁
i think i know what cause the problem.
I try "Sternenschweif" (DSA2) and i can reproduce the Parachute !
If i mount the CD under Linux and start dosbox with "usecd"-option for the cdrom AND choose "play music from cd" dosbox crash !
If i don`t mount the CD under Linux and do the same, "Sternenschweif" don`t crash!
If i mount the CD under Linux and start dosbox with "usecd"-Option for the cdrom AND DON`T choose "play music from cd" dosbox also don`t crash.
so playing music from cd AND mounting as a drive cause this.
edit: now i copy all datas to my harddisk and change the directory and umount the cdrom. And use "usecd" for playing music. Now it works. But i think it`s a nerved workaround.
