I am trying to set up the virtual modem for Warcraft 2: Tides of darkness and I don't know how to connect to another computer.
The game gives me the following options:

Dial: <a phone number, any characters allowed in>
Baud: <2400-38400, the modem speed>
Mode: <call/answer>
Com: <1-4>
IRQ: <2-7>
Clear: <ATZ, default, any text allowed>
Init: <AT &K0 M1 S46=0 &D2, default, any text allowed>
Hangup: <AT H0 S0=0, default, any text allowed>
Dial: <tone/pulse>

My computer is connected to a LAN, and the game recognises it as an IPX network on my win 98 machine, but dosbox can't connect under my XP machine.

Does anybody know how to set up the modem?
