Hello,
i want to play BadBlood - 1990 - from Origin.

Regarding of Mobygames, it has some sound card support:
https://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/bad-blood

Sound Devices Supported - Adlib, Covox Sound Master, Game Blaster (CMS), Innovation Sound Standard, PC Speaker, Roland MT-32 (and LAPC-I), Tandy / PCjr

On some Youtube videos i see that there is some music:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpawBtgz6BI&t=75s

When i run it, i have only sound of movement through PC speaker..

I wonder how to enable it. I read that there are 2 versions of game from 1990 and 1994 release, but code should be same, i still could be some bad binary.. I dunno in which files music should be, to check if i have them.

I tried to DosBox to default SB emulation: // Nothing
sbtype=sb16
sbbase=220
irq=7
dma=1
hdma=5
sbmixer=true
oplmode=auto
oplemu=default
oplrate=44100
hardwarebase=220

I also tried to enable - CMS instead of SB:
sbtype=none
sbbase=220
irq=7
dma=1
hdma=5
sbmixer=true
oplmode=cms
oplemu=default
oplrate=44100
hardwarebase=220

I also dont if game has some sound configuration utility or start parameters i checked manual, there is nothing.

I found out, you can change sound settings through install.exe.

With first configuration SB, its working as Adlib, with second as CMS.. If im not wrong CMS is superior // I was wrong.

Its also working with MT32:

But i dont know how to setup in Dosbox, it maybe need to setup some backend on Windows etc, i never was sound guy..

Ok, i tried MT-32.. never even got into that MT-32, General midi stuff, i know that GM its better when you have special HW, which i got first time few years ago as some small box for gameport, but i never even care that MT-32 is own special standard.. mostly used before general midi.. Regarding of this table is a bit worse: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_MIDI_standards less parallel channels.

I tried to setup MT-32 emulation, through Munt.
https://blog.zyrain.org/2016/11/roland-mt-32- … -it-in-old.html

it seems that its working even without starting additional program in background, once roms where imported.. through some windows driver, what is good and it seems that default Dosbox setup is good with it. At Dosbox the start im getting : MIDI:Opened device:win32 as message that is probably working, there are more instruments - which doesnt necessary mean better game music (often more instruments means more happy music and i hate happy music if is not some parody), but its option. It even work with my old prefered Gulikoza Dosbox. Only problem which i have is that quite silent, i comparison with other Dosbox music option, in Munt i have Volume: 100%.
