I just got a physical copy of Flight SIM for MS-DOS but I have a windows 10 PC. If anyone can help me try to get this MS-DOS game to run on my pc I would be VERY grateful.

Have you tried DOSBox?

It didn’t work with DOSBox

How do I use it with my cd? (I’m sorry if this is a dumb question)
https://www.vdos.info .... the simple answer is you do the same as you would in DOS...
Huh, isn't vDOS for textmode applications?
That appears to be Flight Simulator 5.1 which should work fine on DOSBox. You will need to mount the CD drive in DOSBox, then install it from the disk.
Protagonist: Robot
It's actually 5.0
That's FS 5.1 and it does work with DOSBox.
What exactly didn't work? How did you try it, what error messages did you get, etc. ?

Every time I open setup it just says this exact thing
"FLIGHTSIM51" is a long name. DOS does not do names longer than 8 characters

Except volume labels. They can have 8+3 = 11 characters.
But C:\FLIGHTSIM51 won't work.
Directories follow the same restrictions as filenames. They are not volume labels

You've failed to mount a directory to represent C: drive in dosbox .... rtfm =)
Just to confirm ~ I downloaded the .iso of this title from REMOVED, and was able to install (both from an image mount & burned CD) and run this game with dosbox 0.74-3
Granted I'm using linux, but AFAIK it should work with the windows build of dosbox
PixelLovesDos,
Post everthing that you are doing.
More than likely this is an issue with directory name, mounting and confusion on where to install.
giantclam,
Removed name of site to so called "abandonware".

It’s always after I press of these two buttons, doesn’t matter which one.

@DosFreak ~ noted ; will observe etiquette in future posts, thanks
@PixelLovesDos ~ I was able to recreate this error with dosbox in linux -- problem was I didn't have a local dir mounted as C:

Going by your YT vid, that's what you're missing

Not that’s not it, I was using D: because I’m using a cd-rom. And usually a cd-rom is in D:
