This is what I got when tries to boot from CF card. It's a normal CF-IDE adapter with a 512 MB card. BIOS sees it and i've installed MS-DOS 6.22 from floppies normally.

If I press any button on keyboard a new semicolon appears and CF activity LED blinks. The PC is the one in the signature.

I think that there isn't much I can do to make it work?

EDIT: The card seems to work just fine. I've opened with a USB adapter in my normal PC and files are there.

boot from floppy
type: fdisk /mbr
verify first primary partition on cf is set active ! if not set it active.
try to boot from cf
... ?

Oh right I haven't thought to check active status with fdisk (20+ years of pc experience and i fail with the basics 🤣)!

I will check and do also the /mbr, hope will do! thanks!
