Hello!
I'm looking for old parts, the power switch is one I can't find.
AT cases have those on/off mechanical ones.

For the cases that have one on the back it's easy as you just need to put one that works.
The ones that are on the front require a specific swith to fit in.
Ok, you get what I mean.

Has anyone a supplier, or at least the precise model name I have to look for?

Thanks

Which one, the power supply switch, or the case switch?

Just search for "at power switch dpst" on google or ebay. There are tons available.

Oh, I see you updated your post. Look for the "KDC-A04" DPST switch..

Thanks a lot!!! 😀
I have another one coming as soon as I can take a picture.

And also for the first answer. I'm taking notes for the future.

Is the metal plate screwed to it a special piece with its own name?

I bought a couple of these new a few years ago. I'm sure the "KDC-A04" DPST switch is the one you need (as wiretap pointed out), just want to add that there are 2 variants, one is a toggle switch which (used for on/off and turbo) and there is also a version that doesn't stay pressed (like a reset). Just wanted to point that out. 😀

This time it's about the cover colour.
Beige.

I cleaned a few cover but they are hard to get really back to orinignal colour, like if some grey stuff wouldn't come off.
I tried with some home degreaser but results in "stripes" clearer than others.

Any idea or method to get it clean? Or should I call it "close enough" is good?

I can always put some new ATX + AT converter, but I still need to have the right switch.
Too bad it's close to impossible to buy old frequency turbo displays.

New problem.
This switch works, but the amount of pressure and tilt to make it work makes it useless.
The solution was to make a hole and fit a new switch in one of the front plastic panels (?) used to close the 5.25 bay.

I tried to google it but didn't find anything.

If needed I can upload more pics.

Measures: 19 mm x 13 mm

Anyone has any idea of what should I look for to find this last switch?
Really stuck on this.

Ideas on a rocker switch?
If it's this difficult maybe a different switch, with LED? Case is beige.

Edit: it's measured 21 x 15 , taken from the outer rim - I found plenty 😀 not this specific model but a rocker substitute;
I am guessing that a black switch with a red led is going to look average on a beige case but it is what it is.

I tried to find a replacement for the rocking-kind of switch but I couldn't.
I bought a new switch, DPST 6A/250V. I think it's more than enough.

I also tried to keep the old power button but the result isn't that nice on the inside.
Let me know what you think is best.
