A motherboard I bought came with what appeared to be a bent pin. I tapped on it gently and with the lightest of touch it lifted away from the processor base. I hadn't even attempt to straighten it yet; it may not have been fully attached. I didn't want to risk the pin coming off unexpectedly and falling into a slot slot or elsewhere so I removed it completely.
According to Intel's datasheet for this processor, this is pin A35 (PRDY#). Does anyone know if the processor can function without this pin?

I haven't tried using this chip yet because the board of my test bench isn't working. I also wanted to share the photos. 😀
