Well,

After intense research I am giving up on my quest to integrate Win 10 and Win 98 on the same machine..... they are just too far apart.

I'm a dedicated old school 98 gamer but I'd like to do normal business, web browsing and office type work on the same machine as well.

I have both a P4 and an AMD Athlon XP system that run great and from what I can tell some of the nicer\lighter Linux Distros may give me what I'm looking for.

Any thoughts?

Could I dual boot one of these beasts? (Never tried to dual boot anything other than Windows versions)

I either fix it or break it permanently... there is no try.

You can dual boot anything, but no matter which OS and browser you use, the modern web with all its scripting and fancy graphics, will bring a Pentium 4/Athlon XP to its knees. "Normal business" will be limited.
