Hi everyone, I got an offer (80€) for this motherboard + cpu: Chaintech 6AIV2T-F100A + Celeron Tualatin 1300 Mhz FSB 100

I know that motherboards that natively supports Tualatin are a bit rare and this also has an ISA slot.
The issue is that i can't find any proper informations on this board.
It seems to have an VIA Apollo PLE133 chipset (i think?). But like can't find info about the integrated sound card.

Does any of you know a little about this mobo and/or chipset?

It doesn't appear to have an AGP slot. If you want to utilisr the performance of a Tualatin CPU in games you need an AGP card. PCI is already a bottleneck at this point.
ISA slot is nice but mostly for DOS which doesn't require Pentium III performance.
I wouldn't buy this mobo for a gaming build and most importantly not at this price.

Yeah, the missing agp slot scared me a little too. I do have some pci video cards but not so powerful. Oh well i will pass on the offer then.

Even though this board is listed on https://www.vogonswiki.com/index.php/VIA_C3_V … otherboard_List , the manual makes no mention of VIA C3 CPUs(?), even though this board seems to be more fitting for a VIA C3 than a more speedy Tualatin as the latter is more hurt by the lack of AGP while for the former this is less of an issue and it has ISA to boot.

Lurking somewhere in the muddy waters of my swamp/collection is a similar board, Tualatin compatible, no AGP, I figure when it surfaces it's gonna get one of the PCI 6200s I got on evilbay last year BNIB, last I checked there were some left still.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

I always thought these could perhaps be nice with Voodoo2 SLI or something, but you really don't need a Tualatin for this.
It's really the lack of AGP that prevents this board from being great, but I always tend to go with what it can do. Still I don't think I'd pay €80 for this, despite how great it seems when disregarding the lack of AGP.
It's so close to perfection and then...gahhhh such a shame 🙁
Well ok 2 DIMM slots is perhaps also not great but this is usually much less of an issue.

I'd still probably just Nehemiah this.
