Think you're out of luck for a new one https://www.innoventions.com/ so keep an eye on evilbay etc, they were probably quite expensive.
PC Stats review with an idea of the pricing https://www.pcstats.com/articles/1174/index.html
The used price might be holding or increasing since they are unobtanium new now. I'd expect you'd have go through a couple of dozen shoeboxes full of scrap lot RAM before it pays for itself.
Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
Yes good ram testers are very expensive IF you can find one. Had a chance to get a used one that did all DIP ram types plus 30pin and 72 pin SIMMS for about $300 a few years ago.
Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
I saw one super cheap in the noughties, when "everywhere" thought we were so done with SIMM and SIPP RAM, they wanted $120 for it.... but it was a huge industrial pedestal unit, floor standing, not sure if you could cut them down to just a benchtop wedge or not.
