A long time ago, when I was not aware of Intel's limit in its chipsets, I purchased 8 Rdram sticks of 1GB each. All Intel chipsets only support up to 512 MB sticks, so if I can't find the specific Alpha system these were designed for, they're useless to me.
I was wondering whether it's possible to half the sticks, by removing 8 of the 16 ram chips for example. I am not well versed in electronics (I can change caps, and that's about it). Any ideas? Destructive measures are ok, I have plenty of test units.
