As the title says, does anyone know where to get new CPU Sockets? I primarily need new Socket 7, but maybe it wouldn't be bad idea to get few of the other types.

Localy there aren't any, on eBay I only found one seller in US, while it's not expensive shipping is 10x the price of the socket, and when import tax is added... it would be cheaper to just buy new motherboard.
Via Google I also found only one seller, also in US, probably same shop as on ebay 🤣.

I used a torch to pull one off a mobo once. but best to not do that to working ones.

I think I once bought some recovered sockets out of Asia once.

This is probably not of much help sorry.

Probably gonna have to end up buying the usa ones.

Too many pins to harvest one alive without special equipment 😅. If I ever find replacement one old one is going to get cut in pieces. Same with replacing ISA/PCI connectors. Way easier to cut up plastic part and then desolder pin by pin 😅.

Also no luck on Aliexpress, searched for Socket 7 and Socket 321, but...

Nah, it'll be cheaper to buy whole motherboard on eBay than to order only socket 😅

https://www.peconnectors.com/sockets-pga-cpu- … emory/hws11107/ has socket 7 CPUs at a reasonable price. Only issue is that they only accept online orders for North America addresses, so you will need a forwarder. Very cheap, much cheaper than buying a scrap board to harvest.

That's one of the few sites I found that sells them. I might have to go that route...

I'll have to check forwarder sites and see how much it would cost. https://www.myus.com looks reasonable...
