I'm thinking of future repairs of motherboards and other equipment.
Are some old parts getting more and more difficult to find? I think so.

For example, I've bought some ISA-slots, RAM for ISA-cards, 5->3.3v voltage regulators, DIP cache chips, DIP-28/32 EEPROM, IDE-cables, floppy-cables, and AT-style keyboard connectors to keep for future repairs.
Batteries and coolers (attach with thermal glue) are easy to find, in comparison.

What do you recommend getting?

30pin simm slots in any orientation ( vertical, angled, straight)

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.
