I'm on a personal quest to find the release dates of the line of Adaptec SCSI cards throughout history and having a hard time finding anything on the internet. Does anybody have this info or can point me in the right direction? Primarily interested in cards released through the 90s.

These are my notes.I was going to upload to my site but it's still a bit of a mess. References are quite far down.

When we get the interface cards up on UR (see first link in my sig) I will add the info in a better form.

Thanks! That's a ton of info and very helpful. Looks like I'll need an Adaptec 2940 U2W to be period correct for a 1998 system.

Sounds right, I've got a dual Xeon Dell from 98 and that has integrated U2.

Do take into consideration that the sources in that file are variable in their quality. But were the best i could find at that time.
